Cultureghem is a social enterprise which works in the heart of Brussels. Cultureghem is in partnership with the company Abattoir. Abattoir is the largest market in Brussels. Cultureghem aims to make the market site the centre of social life for the neighbourhood (=Kuregem). They do this with a mix of activities and services, all around the themes of food and social encounters. This report calculates the social impact generated through the implementation of DBYN's "En Route" project in 2015. This project generate a social return of 3,48 euro, for each euro invested. The project was co-financed by the CoE's European Youth Foundation.
This is a report developed as a pilot project for DBYN, calculating the Social Return on Investment our activity "All Alien!" has had. In the coming years we will build upon this experience and see if and how we can further integrate SROI in our organisation.
