Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of €26.2 billion will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train gain experience, and volunteers abroad. Its budget has shown a big increase compared to the €14.7 billion from the 2014-2020 period.
With this increased budget, Erasmus+ will be more inclusive, more digital, and greener.
The Erasmus+ programme has a long history in the European Union and recently celebrated its 35 years. The current programme will be implemented in the period 2021-2027.
You can learn more about the Erasmus plus programme here:

Erasmus+ supports the educational policy of the European Union

The Erasmus+ programme brings together all programmes related to education.  This includes formal education, vocational training, sports education, and non-formal education for adults and youth. Understanding the differences in between these forms of education is crucial. Depending in which sector you work, you can apply for different grants.

Youth in Action is the sub-programme for non-formal youth work

Inside the Erasmus+ programme, there is a specific programme for youth work.  This is called 'Youth in Action'. This sub-programme is divided into several key actions, which include youth mobility projects (like youth exchanges and European Voluntary Service), as well as mobility projects for youth workers (like seminars, training courses, job shadowing ...).
